Areas of Research: Hybrid capacitive deionization, ion dehydration, and electrode fabrication

About: I was a collegiate two sport athlete playing lacrosse and football for Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. I grew up working on my grandfather’s farm where I learned what I like to call “practical chemistry.” I grew to love understanding the world around me. At Westminster College I studied chemistry, where I performed research focused on sustainable lithium-ion extraction using a chelating agent. Now I am fortunate enough to be studying electrochemical lithium-ion extraction using hybrid capacitive deionization, with Professor Sarbajit Banerjee at Texas A&M University.
